Overview:

Believing that healthy living is for everyone, Health Services staff members provide ongoing assessments and interventions, education, and referrals for children and their families. In addition, a maintenance and prevention model is promoted. School nurses are available to all school sites. Health Services provides vision, hearing, scoliosis and dental screening, and provides health and developmental assessments and updates. They also provide Family Life and HIV education for 5th, 6th, 7th, and 9th grade students, as well as staff inservices on blood borne pathogens, immunization requirements, medication administration, and disease/illness prevention.

1.Can I receive a TB skin test at Health Services?

No. Health Services is no longer administering TB test to staff and volunteers.
